This is another mystery that has been hidden from most humans. 666 mark of the beast is one of the most well known phrases in the world, yet one of the most misunderstood. Yet do we actually realize what it means?
For most, it is a very hard “pill” to swallow. Very hard pill.
Hence we will go into more detail in this one than most of our other articles.
WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING AND OBEDIENCE NEEDED TO SOLVE IT
First of all, before we begin, the verse begins by telling us that it will require wisdom and understanding.
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast…”
It begins with wisdom and understanding.
But here is where almost everyone will be disqualified from getting the understanding.
Wisdom and understanding are received through fearing the Most High and keeping his commandments.
Psa 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
So we have a problem here. Most people reject his commandments. But yet we are still sitting thinking we can just study the book and get understanding!
Of course, that is how we learnt in schools. Study and you will be wise.
But the bible, the scriptures, are spiritual books, not text books, and only the Spirit of the Most High (the Holy Spirit) can give us the wisdom and understanding to get the true meaning.
Please note that the revelation of the Most High’s secrets are permission-based. Only he can give the go-ahead for us to receive. We must kno that it is our fearing him and being obedient to his word that will give us access to understanding.
THE NUMBER OF A MAN
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Herein lies the first oversight of man.
The word did not say it is the number of man. No, rather, it said it was the number of a man.
One man. “A” man.
Not many men.
You see, the number of man is 6, but the number of this “a man” is 666.
HIS NUMBER IS SIX HUNDRED, THREE SCORE AND SIX
Hence we have to look for a man to whom this 666 pertains to.
Now the word cements what we are saying by telling us that “his number” is Six hundred threescore and six.
So let us just say something before we do some digging.
WORSHIP OF A MAN AS SOVEREIGN IS IDOLATRY
Satan is a sly old fox. He will take the truth and twist it a little, and get us to err a lot. One of his biggest successes is to get us to worship a man as the Most High, thereby getting us into idolatry…
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Exo 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
The religious leaders of this world took the Messiah, the son of the Most High and made him to be worshipped as their “God.” This has afflicted Christianity to varying degrees.
The Messiah came to show us the way to his Father. He came to show us a way of righteousness so we can enter the Father’s kingdom. We should worship the Most High in spirit and truth, and rejoice in the son.
Man has made us worship the son, ignoring the Father.
This is critical to understand before we can get what 666 really means in Revelation 13:18.
HIS NUMBER IS 666
The number of this man was given in a code. It says his number is six hundred threescore and six. But in the Greek (from which it was translated) that was not what it says.

The 22nd, 14th and an obsolete letter (G4742 as a cross) of the Greek alphabet (intermediate between the 5th and 6th), used as numbers; denoting respectively 600, 60 and 6; 666 as a numeral: – six hundred threescore and six.
Total KJV occurrences: 1
As you can see, it is only in the scriptures once, chi xi stigma.
But if you look into it carefully, it tells something very shocking. Chi xi stigma actually translates to Christ on a cross and pierced.
Notice, stigma refers to a cross and also a pointed instrument. That is also pointing to the pointed instrument used to inflict the mark of the beast!
What Do I Believe In?
I will include a excerpt to better explain this Christ on a cross. But before that, be very clear that we believe in a Messiah, the son of the Most High, but we do not worship him as the Most High, and we do not worship the cross or a man on a cross. Instead, we seek to walk as that man walked while he was on earth. We do not worship the dead.

We told you it is a hard pill to swallow! We have grown up with Christ on the cross. They even had us singing about the cross.
WHAT REALLY HAPPENED?
But the Catholics took the truth, twisted it a little, and turned it into idolatry, trying all they could to get us to worship a man as the Most High. This they handed down to their daughters, the Christian churches. This is what we were warned about in the book of Gad the Seer.
Gad the Seer 2:21
For why would you put confidence in man, whose life is like a vapor, which begins in the morning, and is gone by noon-day, placing him to sit beside God.
In reality, the Messiah came to show us the way to the Father, not to replace him or sit beside him in equal splendour. The Father gave all power to the son, but the Father is the father.
Joh 14:6 Yahusha saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
HIS NUMBER: THE REMOVAL OF SIN
While doing this article, I stumbled upon another revelation through the meaning of the word “number.”

It is the word arithmos. That is from where we get the word :arithmetic.”
But notice it comes from G142. So let’s dig and see what that means.

Do you see it? His number refers to the removal of sin! Who do we say was given for the forgiveness of our sins?
The Messiah.
So the 666 refers to the one given to take away our sins, worshipping him as the Most High!
I am not saying the Messiah is false. I am saying the worship of the Messiah in equivalence to the Most High is false. That is how we identify the second beast.
THE LAMB THAT TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD
In reality, the Messiah was the perfect lamb whose offering to the Most High takes away our sins. Again, we worship the Most High and rejoice in the son for his self-sacrifice, but we do not make an idol out of him.
Php 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in HaMashiach Yahusha, and have no confidence in the flesh.
We should not follow the Catholic and their Christian religion and worship our Messiah as we would worship our Father.
I said “as we would worship our Father,” because worship in its widest sense can simply mean bowing down when greeting someone. Indeed when HaMashiach returns as a king to rule this earth, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that he is king. That is technically worship, but not the worship attributed to the Most High.
So I have to be more specific.
THE WHORE OF BABYLON
Hence this Christ on a cross points to Christianity led by their leaders the Catholics. They gave Christianity the doctrines of the trinity and worship of Jesus as “God.” This religion is the second beast of Revelation 13, and is described in Revelation 17 as the Mother of harlots.
Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
Rev 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
In the bible, religious orders are called women. So the whore in Proverbs 7 is referring to a modern religion. So too is the woman in Zechariah 5 who went to set up her place in Babylon. This is the mother of harlots in Revelation 17.
They are all pointing to the one and same religion, the very religion most of us grew up in and many of us still follow today. But you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
THE WOMAN DRUNKEN WITH THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS AND WITH THE BLOOD OF THE MARTYRS
Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Which woman was drunk with the blook of the saints and of the martyrs of the Messiah? The Catholic church, and they did this through the inquisition.
Rome has been killing the saints and martyrs since biblical times. Wasn’t it Nero who was said to have killed the Apostles Peter and Paul? In 70 AD, the Romans even destroyed Jerusalem. But it was specifically the Catholic church that was at work killing during the inquisition. Drunk with the blood of the saints and martyrs of our Messiah.
